HOW TO KEEP YOUR CHILDREN’S TEETH HEALTHY
TIPS
It’s important for parents to understand that primary teeth are very important for a child. They help kids in speaking and chew naturally. Their primary task is to form the path for the permanent teeth.
Teach your child to take proper care of teeth from a young age will form a habit that will remain with them the lifetime. Maintaining oral hygiene is essential to a person’s health as a whole, not only for keeping their teeth strong.
Pediatric Dentistry teach little patients and their parents the following basic rules of comprehensive dental care:
- When caring for the gums and teeth, parents should use a washcloth. Remove the plaque carefully from inside the little one’s mouth.
- Older children should brush their teeth two times a day, in the morning and before bed. Use right toothpaste and brush.
- Watch the type of snacks your child is eating. Sweet and sticky foods as well as sour candy are the most harmful for the health of your child's teeth. Try to avoid these eatables as much as possible and reserve these for special occasions.
- Visit a pediatric dentist regularly to check the health of the child’s teeth. It’s necessary for parents to understand that ‘baby’ teeth are very important for a child.
